The ILYM ad-hoc Antiracism Committee will be running a six-session workshop on an introduction to racism and white supremacy in the US. White Supremacy 101 will run on Zoom starting in April. Sessions will last 90 minutes. There is no cost to attend.
Come and learn. Especially encouraged are folks who have never explored racism and this work before. The sessions will look at the historical, cultural, and personal parts of racism. All attendees are requested to commit to each session to the fullest extent possible. Each person is asked to attend the first session (which will run twice to accommodate schedules) in order to attend the others. This is intended to be a brave, challenging and supportive space. To register and receive a Zoom link, or with questions please contact: Adrian Nelson (azurecielos16@gmail.com) or Caryn Kuhn (muttcrazy1@gmail.com).
