Hosted by: ILYM Ad Hoc Committee on Racism
The Illinois Yearly Meeting (ILYM) Ad Hoc Committee on Racism is hosting a series of worship sharings reflecting on the queries from The Outgoing Epistle of the 2020 Virtual Pre-Gathering of Friends of Color and their Families. This is an opportunity to reflect and share with other Quakers on the intersections of Quaker faith, communities, and race.
These sessions are open to everyone within the ILYM community, of which Northside Friends Meeting is a part. You do not need to have attended previous sessions in order to join. It is recommended you read the epistle ahead of time to begin your reflection, although it will be read aloud during the session.
This session will focus on Query 6: How can I support respite for Friends of Color?
